I am a young and energetic advanced math tutor with years of experience.I’m passionate about teaching; it runs in my blood. Most of my family members are or were practicing teachers, some in high school, and others in the university. I personally have been tutoring and teaching students since I was in middle school. I started getting paid to tutor in high school and continued tutoring while I was in college. When I graduated, I taught Speech and Debate abroad in South Korea. I currently work as a math tutor teaching students mainly in 3rd through 11th grade. I would say what drives me is that I have a colossal love of learning; an unending passion. Ever since first learning about Newton’s laws, I have been inspired and awe-struck by science and mathematics. I love how math is the language of the universe and how physics can be used to explain nearly everything around us. I have read countless physics, math, and philosophy books with a fascination for learning. I want to encourage and share this passion with my students. I promise struggling students will improve their grades. Students who are currently "making the grade" will be much more comfortable and confident in their mathematical abilities. Further we can prepare you for honors level classes and put you in the position to confidently pass all your AP tests. We can even take it a step further and prepare you to the SAT’s. I got an 800/800 on my SAT Math and 780/800 on my SAT Math IIC and I am confident I can teach you to do the same. This is because ALL students are fully capable of achieving high academic success. It is my goal to increase each student's ability to understand the material and to learn effectively. Mathematics is not "hard" if it is approached the right way. Anyone with the desire can learn algebra, trigonometry, and calculus if each concept is simplified.
